Delicious authentic tacos!! I had a Carne Asada and Pollo tacos. Their Salsa Verde has just the right amount of spice where your lips tingle for a little while after 😋

Hidden gem. The food is amazing. Really prepped with care. Cafe Rio is good. This place is great.

I've tried their tacos during Salmon Days festival in Issaquah a few months ago. Yesterday I drove 30 miles to get their tacos again. They were totally worth the drive. Make sure to try their lengua tacos (beef tongue) - they are delicate and delicious. Oh, and it's the best orchata I've had in a while - sweet, bold and not watered down. Totally recommend this place.

We ordered chicken burrito, beef enchiladas and pork and chicken tamales. The food was great and the service fast. We got there around closing time but they were super nice and let stay and eat our dinner at the restaurant.

Great, authentic taqueria. The pozole here it's awesome and they serve tamales on Saturdays (get there early, they go fast).

Do not order delivery on through DoorDash. My order was not delivered and I spoke with a manager there and they told me they were unable to help at all. Very unsatisfied with my experience with this restaurant!

This spot simply knows how to take care of their customers. Regularly with a very friendly mindset. The food is conveniently priced, always delightful and neat.

This is the real deal. The family owned business is outstanding. The tacos are incredible. All of their food is amazing. Real authentic Mexican food. The people there are always happy to see you and take real good care of you. I've been there many times and it's always OUTSTANDING.skip the Rio next door and go here for an experience just like you are at taco witcho in Mazatlan or Neto tacos in Puerto Vallarta.listen folks this place is real Mexican food. The best meal I have had in 2019! Every other place in Issaquah is garbage compared to Taqueria La Venadita. I dont just mean that this is the best Mexican food in Issaquah, it is the best restaurant in Issaquah. I challenge other restaurants in town to be even half as delicious as this food.

Perfect for what they're trying to do. It's like a poor man's El Sarape with a mom and pop vibe. Equitable food and prices to the above mentioned restaurant.

Excellent family run Mexican food cafe. Mostly meat dishes but plenty of excellent vegetarian choices. High quality ingredients, including lots of sauteed veggies. Sometimes they even have chili-cheese tamales which are fantastic. Really like their horchata too.Not a fast-food taqueria... a little more 'formal'. You order at the counter, food is served to your table on real plates & silverware.

We've going to this place for almost 8 years now and they deliver consistently awesome food! A must try for authentic Mexican food, spice not watered down at all. Must try - Tacos, camarones la diabla, huevos rancheros, quesadilla, pozole, tamales, menudo and flan!

Best Real Mexican food around.

We have been here many times, and usually it's 5 stars for me. However I feel I have to mention an issue that's occurred the last 2 times. For the last 2 visits we received incorrect to-go orders. This seems to be an issue when visiting in the afternoon hours, when there is a man tending the counter (both times). Very nice person, but doesn't seem to get the order right.So next time, I will be more vigilant about checking my to-go orders after receiving them.Food is good, but the order I got was NOT hot/spicy like it was supposed to be, because it was the wrong order.

Good flavor and portion. I ordered without looking at the menu asking for a burrito with whole beans, rice, lettuce, avocado, Mexican cheese, pico de gallo. Good quality. With chips and pico/salsa afterwards (NOT included/cost extra). The red salsa tasted roasted. Chips were oily. Burrito was awesome.

Great tacos (make sure you get at least one chorizo taco), great homemade salsas, quick, friendly service. Great prices. Ample free parking. Right next to a chain Mexican restaurant. Why anyone would want to go to a chain restaurant as opposed to a locally owned restaurant, I'm not sure. I have not yet tried their entrees, but next time I visit I will.

Legit Mexican food! Fast, friendly service. Tacos are awesome. Burritos are just the right size, and come with guacamole and sour cream on the side.

To be clear, I love this place.Good food relatively cheap, but the service and interior you would expect for the price, thus I’m dropping one star.

This authentic, Mexican restaurant in downtown Issaquah is amazing. The salsa and guacamole are the best in Seattle. Great prices and hole on the wall environment. Staff is friendly, quick & service oriented.

Ordered 2 quesadillas and a sopes... ths food was bland. I'm from the South so my expectations were high. Left very disappointed.

One of the few near-authentic Mexican eateries on the Eastside and very friendly & efficient staff.

This is so far from authentic that you are honestly better off going to Taco Bell. Beans are from a can (or at least they taste like it), meat is flavorless, rice is chewy. What a let down! The food was awful but they get 2 stars for good service.

This is not good authentic Mexican food. I ordered a burrito, The rice was bland, the beans were bland, The meat was okay. The red sauce and the green sauce that they packed in there were awful. All the sour cream was on one side of the burrito and then all the meat was on the other side of the burrito. They didn't even roll it up right stuff was leaking out. Never again.

Such a good experience, really great food at a good price. The carne asada was so good, and they gave guac with the burrito. Will come again!

One of those places where you want them to do well but you want to keep it a secret too. I remember sitting down to it and thinking "Man, this is my new secret!" as I see a group of 10 folks from work come in. Darn! Heh. Food was amazing. I really enjoyed it.

Prices aren't consistent! Depending on the cashier, the price for Carne Asada fries drastically changes. I've been charged, $5.99, $7.99, $9.99, and now $10.49. Seriously?! Ridiculous!

While eating my torta I noticed the bread was rot, asked for my money back, bad food service never coming again.
